The client

ZeteoPeople is a professional recruitment and career consulting firm specialising in the German-speaking market. They offer personalised recruitment services, focusing on permanent roles in IT and Technology, particularly in management and strategy consulting, as well as SAP and cutting-edge technology consulting. ZeteoPeople derives its name from the classical Greek word for 'search to find,' reflecting their commitment to finding the right people for the right roles. They provide candidates with career advice and support throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a match that benefits both the candidate and the employer.

ZeteoPeople's old website

The problem

ZeteoPeople (ZP) has been thriving since its incorporation in 2002, a period when the internet was on the brink of becoming a pivotal force. Despite the rapid evolution of digital technology, ZP's website has remained largely unchanged, preserving the original design and content without significant updates. 

Candidates researching ZeteoPeople were met with an outdated user interface on the company's website, which failed to inspire confidence or accurately represent the team's professionalism and dedication. There was a significant risk of losing potential business, as the nostalgic website might deter further engagement from prospective clients.

From a day-to-day business point of view, the website's static nature posed significant limitations, as it required developers for any content updates. This not only slowed down the process but also restricted the team's ability to maintain current and engaging content autonomously.

The solution

The website and company logo required a comprehensive overhaul. Beginning with the logo, I slightly tweaked ZP's corporate blue, transitioning it to a deeper navy hue to emphasise ZeteoPeople's professionalism and steadfastness.

The redesigned logo combines two contemporary fonts: New Order and Sarah Script Regular, adding a vibrant flair to ZeteoPeople's visual identity. The 'o' is designed to resemble a magnifying glass, echoing the company's slogan "search to find" in a subtle yet clever manner.

I designed the new UI in Figma and developed the new website using Webflow, addressing the hosting challenges and enabling the team to manage and develop their digital shopfront independently. This is what I call democratisation of the web.

Andrew, the managing director, curated the visuals for the website, bringing his distinct vision to life. I focused on the overarching design, ensuring it was gentle and allowed the content to take center stage.
